This strange illusion works through our perceived perspective of an object. If you follow the object?s points from one to the next, you will see that it acts very strangely indeed. Your eyes will follow each part of the puzzle around, yet never be able to understand or differentiate the foreground from the background. This is because the object does not act as we expect it to.
The artist, David Macdonald, works in lighting and photography for television and film, and he enjoys creating these photorealistic illusions, combining photography with cg images. Many of them are published in illusion books.
