Is this a bunch of flowers, with one drooping down to the shelf below, or a woman?
When we look at this image our brain tells us to work out what it is, and so we look for the prominent features. These appear to be the exotic face at the top and the woman?s chest, with both lit up. We can then decipher the flowers that form her shoulders, neck, face and hand. The use of light draws our eyes to certain feature first, because we are used to using light to understand images, then we notice the darker colours.
