Look at this famous picture of the Mona Lisa and see if you notice anything different about it.
We are so used to seeing this image, that our brains see the overall portrait as we are familiar with it. The face and neck are lit up, we understand what we are seeing.
Yet on closer inspection, this is Mona Lisa as we have never seen her. A cat nestles against her neck, facing us. On looking down, we can see that her hands and arms are actually two rabbits nestling together. In the background, faces form the landscape of rocks.
