At first glance, this image shows us a child, facing towards us, with dark eyes and golden hair. The child?s right arm is lifted and it appears as if it is in motion. Our eyes are drawn to the child?s face lit up at the centre of the image and its white tunic. Upon looking closer, we can decipher a different scene, once we look past the child. At the centre is the baby Jesus, clearly visible through the child?s tunic, and surrounded by onlookers. The original child?s raised arm and hand becomes an angel who appears to be praying.
