Can you spot the 9 people in this illusion?
The light at the centre of the image leads us to the old man?s face and within it we can see, quite clearly, two more figures. There are other ghostly images in the background and the dog in the foreground forms the old man?s hand.
This picture is known as ?The General?s Family? and was painted by the Mexican artist Octavio Ocampo. The 9 faces make up the face of the General and tell the interesting story of his whole life, from his impoverished early upbringing to his marriage and beyond.
