Can you reach the top of these stairs?
The answer is no. The top becomes the bottom and vice versa and the stairs go on forever.
Stairs illusions have always been popular, as they are simple and effective at confusing our senses. Many of them use contrasting black and white shades. Colour is used to highlight the steps, giving them an added perspective (orange for the top, dark blue for the underside, and red) and the illusion works by drawing our eyes to the step ups, only to find that they behave oddly and we cannot find the top step.
